Program Overview
In addition to traditional genres such as graphic and painting techniques, we introduce applicants to today's diverse image creation methods: comic art, visual storytelling used in cinema such as storyboards, and the intersection of design and visual arts. Our students not only create illustrations for literary works but are also capable of planning the entire book. Our program places special emphasis on freehand drawing. In the Visual Representation program, you can study artistic anatomy to perfect your drawing skills. We focus extensively on helping you discover your unique voice and artistic style under the mentorship of your instructors. Through drawing and design practices, we simultaneously develop your manual and digital skills, as well as your creativity. We provide a solid foundation for navigating both traditional/analog and digital visual worlds, utilizing the possibilities of new technologies. We offer opportunities for you to learn modern image creation methods through mediums like fine art photography, video, and installation art.
